WASHINGTON, D.C., (September 15, 2015) – Patty Rice, National Bestselling author of Somethin’ Extra and Reinventing the Woman, will launch her latest novel this Thursday, September 17th 2015, at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference Author’s Pavilion.
He Restores My Soul, is the story of a dysfunctional Christian family devastated by a single event that sends each member on a journey of healing and deliverance. “He Restores My Soul, is my most important work to date,” says Patty Rice, author and CEO of Christian Culture, LLC. “People are getting hit hard with personal and family issues. We need positive influences to help us deal with our struggles in an authentic way. So I had to write something that reflects the lives of those who have been tested and suffered life-altering situations but been restored through their faith and God’s unconditional love and grace.”
He Restores My Soul is the first book launched of several upcoming projects created and distributed by Christian Culture Entertainment, LLC, including two scripted television series created by Rice. Both shows are being co-written by her and PR consultant and producer, Kimberly Hodges.
“I am so excited about the work that is coming out of Christian Culture Entertainment,” says Patty. “Christian voices are gaining momentum in the entertainment industry. We’re not telling our grandmother’s stories anymore, and it’s my goal to put a fresh spin on inspirational content to make it fun and engaging in ways that still encourage, edify, and entertain.”
The launch event will begin at noon and end at 2 pm in the Washington Convention Center’s Exhibit Hall, September 17th and feature a book signing, reading and giveaways.
